Jenny Newman
1st Grade
I have moved around! I have lived in Minnesota, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, and Missouri. I attended Harding University and earned my degree in Child Development. After graduating I moved to Irving, Texas and while living there met Todd, my future husband . Shortly after the birth of our first son we moved to Jackson and have lived here for the last 20 years. I stayed home with our 3 children until my youngest was in school, then worked part time for the Jackson school district for 12 years. Our boys are both now at Harding University and our daughter is a senior at JHS.
I am thrilled to be teaching full time, especially at LCA! Deuteronomy 6:5-9 is my passion. I am right where I need to be if I can share God in every conversation and teach children of His wonders. I attend the Jackson church of Christ where I actively teach Bible classes and work with the youth.
