Carrie Coy
5th Grade
Originally from Sullivan, Missouri. Carrie Coy came to Cape Girardeau, MO to attend Southeast University. She earned her bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Elementary Education.
Coy taught for 30 years in the public school system within the immediate area of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Service during these years included: Kindergarten, Fourth Grade, Fifth Grade, Sixth grade, and Remedial Reading. After retirement from Public Schools, she has taught one year at Cape Christian School and is now teaching her second year at Lynwood Christian Academy.
Coy’s favorite Bible verses: Philippians 4:6-7.
6 Don’t be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Carrie and her husband Don have three children and six grandchildren. She enjoys being on and around lakes, rivers, and ponds, especially fishing.
